Treatments

One of the most common applications of scalp micropigmentation is the concealment of hair transplant scars. If you had FUT or FUE surgery, and are anxious about visible scars, scalp micropigmentation can be used to make your scars much less visible.

FUT ‘strip’ scars are the result of the traditional hair transplant method. The severity of the scar depends on many factors, but primarily the number of grafts harvested and the skill of the surgeon. FUE ‘dot’ scars are seen as multiple round patches of scar tissue and are caused by modern surgical methods. Both FUT and FUE scars can be concealed using scalp micropigmentation techniques.

Every scar is different, and treatment is therefore tailored to suit your individual needs. The extent of camouflage depends on a number of factors including the size, position, indentation or protrusion, color and texture of the scar, as well as the length of time since the scar was acquired.
